Mrs. Cynthia Bolin White, 76, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012, in her home surrounded by her loving family in Pickensville, Alabama. Visitation will be at Betheden Lutheran Church inLouisville, Mississippi, on Sunday, January 29, 2012, from 1:30 p.m. until service time. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2012, at Betheden Lutheran Church with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Interment will be in Betheden Church Cemetery.
Mrs. White was born on July 29, 1935, in Baxterville, Mississippi. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, and she worked as a receptionist for Arkla-Taylor Incorporated of Arkansas, retiring in 1994. Mrs. White then moved to Pickensville, Alabama, where she spent time enjoying her family and friends. She was an exceptional, loving, and devoted wife, a wonderful, caring mom, and a most special grandmother. She was also a sister, an aunt and a friend who will be sadly missed by all.
Mrs. White is survived by her husband of 57 years, Bobby White, as well as by her daughter, Melissa Thompson and husband, Sam, and her granddaughter, Adriane Thompson, all of Panama City, Florida. She is also survived by her sister, Nellie Chambliss of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Artie Lewis Bolin.
