Mrs. Charlotte Hall Whitten, 85, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Thursday, October 13, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2011, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, Mississippi. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitten was born December 12, 1925, to Alta and Bertha Ray Hall. She was a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church for 32 years, and she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Whitten is survived by her brother, George Hall; her brother-in-law, Travis Whitten and wife, Kate; and her nephew, Allen Ray Hall, all of Louisville, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her husband, James B. Whitten; her parents, Alta and Bertha Ray Hall; and her brother, Orval Hall.
