Mrs. Emodean Williams, 84, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2010, at the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Friday, December 3, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, MS. Interment will follow in Rural Hill Cemetery with Rev. Larry Odom officiating. Mrs. Williams was born on April 1, 1926, to Clyde and Myrtie Doss Dodd. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Kosciusko, Mississippi, where she taught Sunday School.
Mrs. Williams is survived by one son, Danny Carlton Williams, Sr. of McCool, Mississippi; one brother, Charles Dodd of Kimberly, Alabama; three grandchildren, Sherri Williams Cantey, Danny Carlton Williams, Jr., and Anthony James Williams; seven great-granchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband, Samuel C. Williams.
Pallbearers will be Dan Williams, Anthony Williams, Michael Cantey, Derrick Burchfield, and Jimmy Horton. Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS is handling the arrangements.
