Howard Lang

Graveside services for Howard Lang were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Collinsville with the Rev. Hal Bates officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Lang, 68, of Collinsville, died, Monday, May 17, 2010, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his daughter, Julie Shook and her husband, Nick, of Petal; son, Michael Lang of Collinsville; grandchild, Abby Gail Shook; brother, Clayton Lang and his wife, Henrietta, of DeKalb; sisters, Helen Bridges of Louisville, Mary Ezell of Bailey and Betty Rawlings and her husband, Lindy, of Starkville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Cunningham Lang; parents, C.T. and Mattie Sue Withers Lang; brother, Johnnie Lang; and sisters, Barbara Stephens and Margaret Landstreet.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
Pallbearers were his nephews, family and friends.
