Mrs. Baxter was born January 19, 1940, in Oktibbeha County, MS to Hallie and Annie Laura(Hartness) Jones. She was 82 years old. Mrs. Baxter was a retired nursing assistant. She attended Concord Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 11:00AM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS, with Maury Jones officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022, 10:00 a.m. until service time at Coleman Funeral Home.
Mrs. Baxter is survived by 1 daughter, Kathy Jenkins of Starkville, MS; 2 sisters, Pam and Frances; 8 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren; and a long-time friend/family member Rebecca Oswalt.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Baxter, her parents, and 3 sons, Danny, Kenneth, and Charles Baxter.
