Steve Sheldon

Mr. Steve “Sarge” Sheldon, 46, died Sunday, October 2, 2016, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 6th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Wes Jones officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Mr. Sheldon was born April 12, 1970, in Flemington, NJ. He was a graduate of Louisville High School. He worked in construction, and was a property manager at Lake Tiak-O’khata. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Warren and Carolyn Sheldon, and Frank and Caroline Cadmus; and his in-laws, Toni and Fred Rowell.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Rowell Sheldon; his son, Steven Tyler Sheldon; and his parents, Donald and Sharon Cadmus Sheldon, all of Louisville.

Pallbearers will be Gabe Daumer, Clint Howard, Brad Sullivan, David Metts, Dennis Whitman, Danny Whitman, Jason Pugh, and Wes Tanksley. Honorary pallbearers are J.R. Stoots, Will Pitt, Harlan Hatcher, and Stephen Metts. To sign the guest register, go to www.porterfuneralhome.net.
