Micheal M. Hemphill

Micheal M. Hemphill, 50, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at his residence in the Nanih Waiya Community with those who loved him at his side. Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday, April 13 at Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 14 at Harmony Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Gross and Reverend Jerry Lundy officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in Sardis Cemetery with Reverend David Keen officiating.

Micheal was born July 17, 1974, to Randy J. and Camellia Tramel Hemphill in Macon, Mississippi. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and was also a licensed minister. Micheal loved all things related to computers and was an exceptional computer programmer.

Micheal is survived by his wife of 24 years, Andrea Bartlett Hemphill of Louisville; daughter, Emily Hemphill of Brooksville, Florida; son, Tyler Hemphill; and stepson, Eddie Laudien of Allen, Texas. He also leaves behind his father, Randy J. Hemphill; his sister, Tina Long; mother and father-in-law, Judy and James Bartlett; and brother-in-law, Stephen Bartlett; in addition to his nieces, Maria Shows, Natalie Long, and Maddy Jo Long; and nephew, Quinton Long; other family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Camellia Hemphill; infant brother, Randy Joe Hemphill, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Ann Herdon; paternal grandparents, Mattie Mae and Paul West; paternal grandfather, Clovis Hemphill; uncles, Larry Ferris and John Hemphill; and George and Nell Higginbotham.

Serving as pallbearers are David Hemphill, Jason Hemphill, Jimmy Dale Higginbotham, Quinton Long, Anthony Miles, and William Shepheard. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Hemphill, Eugene Hemphill, and James Hemphill.
