Frankie was born March 14, 1933, to Frank and Bertha Jewel Bethany Armstrong. She was a member of Poplar Flat Baptist Church and a member of the High Point Volunteer Fire Department. She was a homemaker and many will remember her as an Avon Representative.
Mrs. Mayo is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Keeny Mayo of Louisville; and by two daughters, Jeanie Barnes and husband, Milford, of Gautier, Mississippi; and Vicki Padgett of Pascagoula, Mississippi. She is also survived by her brother, Hoyt Armstrong and wife, Mimi, of Wake Forest, North Carolina; and by five grandchildren; as well as a host of other family members. Frankie was preceded in death by her parents; her son, John M. Neal of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; and by one grandson.
