Rev. James Clinton Dearing

Funeral services for Rev. James Clinton Dearing will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 18, 2015 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Mike Smith & Rev. Lawrence Runnels officiating. Rev. Paul Blanchard will officiate the graveside service. Interment will be in Bethsaida Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements. 

Rev. Dearing, 65, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Neshoba County and made his home in the Bethsaida Community for the past 19 years. He served in the National Guard for 26 years. He was employed with Rush Health Systems as benefit coordinator.Rev. Dearing surrendered to the ministry 8 l/2 years ago. He has been preaching at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Winston County for 4 years . He was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church. 

Rev. Dearing was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Irene Killens Dearing; sister-in-law, Kathy Dearing.

Survivors are his loving wife of 46 years, Wanda Dearing of Phila; (2) sons, James Paul Dearing (Missy) of Flora, MS, Jonathan Dearing (Kay) of Phila; father, Austin Lee Dearing of Phila; (4) sisters, Barbara Higginbotham (Gene) of Phila, Judy Wingfield (Tommy) of Newton, Mary Grace (Tim) of Phila, & Brenda Summerville (Keith) of Florida; (3) brothers, Tommy Dearing (Kate) of Phila, Jerry Dearing (Tammy) of Alabama & David Dearing of Phila; (2) grandsons, Dakota Dearing & Anson Dearing.
