Jean Roberson Coleson, 82, a homemaker, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Brooklyn Hall Personal Care Home near Mathiston, MS . Ms.Coleson was born October 19, 1932 in Eupora, MS. She was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church in Starkville, MS
Funeral Services for Ms. Coleson will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 2PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS with Jason Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery near Ackerman. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 5PM until 8PM at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.Ms. Coleson was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Coleson, parents, Lindsey and Zee (Mims) Roberson, sisters, Faye Veale, and Rose Coggins, and brothers, J.B.Roberson, and Jimmie Roberson. She is survived by sons, Mark Coleson and wife Jo of Sturgis, MS and Steve Coleson and wife Margie of Houston, AL, daughters, Eleanor Gibbs and husband Hester of Lebanon, TN, and Jo Hendrix and husband James of Dekalb, MS, sisters, Sara Boomer of Stillwell, OK, and Hazel Bruce of Picayune, MS, and brother, Paul Roberson and wife Marion of Mathiston, MS. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in memory of Ms. Coleson to the Brooklyn Hall Personal Care Home in Mathiston, MS or a charity of choice.
