Cynthia Jean Morehead,6, was born November 2, 2017. She was a member of Gilmer's Chapel Church of God. To know C.J. was to love her. She was so full of life. She loved with all her heart. She loved to sing and play, she loved to have adventures, and she brought so much joy to so many lives. Her life was not an easy one. She had many heath issues. Twice the doctors told us they did not know if she would live. That it was in the Lord's hands, and he spared her both times, but on Thursday, August 1, 2024, he called her and said come home child your mansion is ready. I can just see her meeting Jesus with that sweet smile she had and him taking her in his arms and welcoming her home. I can imagine her running and jumping down the streets of Gold.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Sara Lashay Batchelor; sister, Karli Amelia Mills; brother, Huntleigh Robert Mills; grandfather, Robert Pinter; cousin, Aleigha; uncle, James Pinter.
Survivors include her father, Michael “MJ” Morehead; sister, Madilyn Morehead; brothers, Bryan Jolly, Timothy Jolly; grandparents, Amanda Dennis (Chris), Reba Batchelor, Michael Morehead Sr. (Alicia); great-grandparents, Johnny and Vilinda Yates, David and Cynthia Morehead, Lisa and Clay Dennis, Ronnie and Angela Hannah, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; special people in her life, Joseph Jolly and Brendon Mills.
