R. Wayne was quite a character and will be remembered for his sense of humor and elaborate story telling skills. He loved the Mississippi State Bulldogs, watching Indy 500 and hanging out listening to music in his bunkhouse behind the pool.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Ruth Farish (Ruthie) of Owasso, OK; his daughter, Kim Dykes, and her husband, Wayne, of Owasso OK; grandchildren, Aubrey Dykes Castner, and her husband, Matt, Ben Dykes and Sammy Dykes, all of Owasso, OK; Kacy Gilley, and her husband Chris of Medina, TN; great grandchildren, McKinley and Kail Ifantis of Medina, TN; nephew, Neal Iverlett of Murfreesboro TN; grand nieces, Briley and Brennan Iverlett of Murfreesboro, TN; Brother in law, Spencer Iverlett of Smithville, TN; cousins, Diane Hartness and husband, Larry of Madison, MS, Roma Jean Gore and husband Coach of Waynesboro, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dot Farish of Noxapater, MS; one sister, Faye Iverlett of Smithville, TN, and his son, Robert Tyler Miller Farish of Owasso, OK. He attended First Church in Owasso, OK.
