She attended Bond High School and graduated as Salutatorian of her class. Jean also attended Draughon’s Business College in Jackson and began her career which spanned 64 years. She worked for attorneys, a Federal Magistrate, and a Federal Judge for the Southern District of Mississippi. She then worked during 32 sessions of the Mississippi legislature, retiring in 2012.
Jean was a long time member of Parkway Baptist Church where she taught the same Sunday school class for over 40 years. She was also a long-time volunteer at Mississippi Baptist Health Systems.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Sgt. Major (ret) Aldert S. Nall II, mother and father, three brothers, Henry Eaves of Southfield, MI; Welton Eaves of Baltimore, MD, and Harry Eaves of Louisville, MS. Three sisters, Mildred Arnett of Brandon, MS., Jackie Bunch of Charlotte, NC, and Peggy Cockrell of Louisville, MS. Also her sister-in-law, Dean Eaves of Louisville, MS.
Jean is survived by her children, Aldert S Nall, III, wife Karen, grandson Aldert S. Nall IV; Lucia Lynn Nall, wife Dr Cyndi Undesser, and family friend loved like a daughter, Judy Ketchens.
Also many nieces and nephews who she counted as her own and to whom we have been blessed to call cousin. Thank you for your support both emotionally and spiritually.
Because of her giving nature, Jean has donated her remains to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for medical research.
There will be a Memorial Service Oct 7 @ 11:00 AM at Parkway Baptist Church in Clinton Mississippi.
