Brenda Aron Johnson

Mrs. Brenda Kay Johnson, 67, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, in Oak Ridge, TN. A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 27th, at Porter Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 1:30 P.M. at Indian Springs Cemetery, with Rev. Franklin Smith officiating. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Brenda was born August 27, 1956, in Bruce, MS. She was a supervisor at the Silver Star Casino. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Earl Johnson; her parents, Evelyn and Theron Aron; two sisters, Barbara Dale Russell and Sherry Lynn Aron; and two brothers, Randy Aron and Kenny Aron.

She is survived by daughters, Dorothea Puckett of Prentiss, MS, Brenda Carol Watkins of Clinton, TN, Kristin (John) Dickerson of Noxapater, MS, Crystal (Keith) Bridges of Meridian, MS, and Brandee (Cody) Hays of Louisville; a son, Alexander (Inez) Johnson of Clinton, TN; and her grandchildren, Roger (Hannah) Towne, Joseph (Hailey) Towne, Ausitn Criddle, Logan Johnson, Boyce Chaligoj, Steven Chaligoj, Kylie Bridges, Matthew Bridges, Bella Bridges, Maddie Edwards, Gracie Edwards, Aiden Reed, Will Ford, Kaleb McBride, Ashton Dempsey, Skylor Watkins, Ava Hays, Hayden Hays, Scarlett Hays, Alexandra Sparks, and Gabrielle Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Aiden Reed, Logan Johnson, Kaleb McBride, Roger Towne, Joe Towne, Matthew Bridges, Steven Chaligoj, and Boyce Chaligoj. Honorary pallbearers will be Will Ford and Austin Criddle.
