Mrs. Janie Dale Hutchison Taylor, 98, passed away Monday, August 27th, 2018, at the Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, August 31st, at Porter Funeral Home, with Dr. Gayle Pope officiating. Interment will be in Bethsalem Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Taylor was born July 11, 1920, in Choctaw County, MS. She was a homemaker, and a member of Bethsalem Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Vaughn Taylor; her parents, Bertha Estelle Thompson and William Ira Hutchison;a brother, William Bryan Hutchison; and a sister, Hattie Virginia Lollar.
She is survived by one daughter, Diane (Ted) Carter of Louisville; one son, Dennis (Linda) Taylor of Louisville; two sisters, Louise Stephens and Doris Selby, both of Jackson, MS; two grandchildren, Christi Carter and Madelon Taylor; and two great grandchildren, Madison Hunt and Taylor Hunt.
Memorials may be made to the Bethsalem Cemetery Fund, or French Camp Academy.
