A true environmentalist and nature lover, she was born in Colorado Springs, Co, on January 22, 1926. She was a generous, loving and kind Southern lady who would never let you leave her home with empty hands. There was always an offer of canned peaches, green beans or nabs and a coke. She loved being outdoors watering her flowers and watching nature create daily miracles around her. She loved her family above all else and was proud to brag on them at every opportunity.
Affectionately known as Mom, Mee Maw, and Aunt Kat, she will forever be remembered by her children, Bennie (Teresa) Hill and Randy (Sammie) Hill, both of Louisville, and Jamie (Helen) Hill of Eupora, MS,; Jean (Jerry) Enis and Peggy (Jimmy) Joyner, both of Tupelo, and Sharon (Steve) Little of Starkville, MS, and Don (Judy) Scott of McKinney, TX; 9 grandchildren, Jay Enis, Candace Enis, Ashley (Ryan) Finch, Wendy Todd, Zachary (Sohee) Hill, Genesis Hill, Chase Little (Molly Sikes) , Hannah Hill, and Chris (Tiffany) Hill; and 9 great grandchildren: Mia Katherine, John Nicholas, Peyton, Addison, Carter, Harper, Heidi, Hollie and Heath; her dear sisters-in-law, Evelyn McArthur, Dovie Hill, Olivia Monez, Donna Hill, and a host of nieces and nephews.
