Amy Wright Phillips

Mrs. Amy Wright Phillips, 53, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 5, 2017, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Visitation will be Thursday, June 8, 2017, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nowell Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Hill and Rev. Charles Rook officiating. Interment will follow in Crystal Ridge Cemetery.

Amy, a lifelong resident of Winston County, was born July 31, 1963, to Jerome and Ruby Jones Wright. She was an employee of Regions Bank for over 17 years and was currently employed as the manager of Hope Credit Union. She was very proud of and totally devoted to her family and took great pleasure in the time she spent with them. She also loved and greatly enjoyed her dogs and cats.

Amy is survived by her husband of 11 years, Clay Phillips; her daughter, Jessie Smith; her son, Jacob Smith; and her sister, Kathy Graham and husband, Tony, all of Louisville. One of her greatest joys was being “MeMe” to her granddaughter, Jaylee Fulton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James Roscoe and Bertha Wright and Golie and Margaret Jones.

Serving as pallbearers are Dale Dickerson, Greg King, Chris Moody, and James Phillips. Memorial contributions in honor of Amy may be given to Crystal Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Amanda Eaves, 2305 Crystal Ridge Road, Louisville, MS 39339 or to Blair E.
