James Warner


James Warner, 48, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at Crystal Ridge Baptist Church in Louisville on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, with Rev. Charles Rook and Rev. Dewayne Kelsey officiating. Visitation will be held the day of the service from 12 p.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow in the Crystal Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Warner is survived by his wife, Karen Cook; his father, Lionel Warner and wife, Vernice, all of Louisville; his mother, Barbara Holdiness Lowman of Monroeville, Alabama; his son, James Cook and wife, Ashley, of the Nanih Waiya Community; his sister, Tammy Garretson and husband, Tim; and his grandmother, Ruby Steed, all of Louisville. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Jayden, Braylie, and Lily Cook.

Serving as pallbearers are John Dickerson, James Cook, Brandon Garretson, Shawn Fulcher, Jacob Smith, and Stephen Collier. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Fulcher, Bubba Pace, James Hamm, Tim Beasley, Jeff L. Smith, and Doyle Thrash. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be given to Nowell-Massey Funeral Home to help defray the final expenses.
