Mr. Alexander D. “Alex” McGaugh, Jr., 78, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Winston Medical Center. Graveside services and interment will be held on Monday, June 2nd, at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Alex was born January 22, 1947, in Louisville, MS, to Alexander Derell McGaugh, Sr. and Helen Quinn McGaugh. He graduated from Louisville High School, and served in the U. S. Navy. After his time in the service, he worked as a welder for Taylor Machine Works.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Martha McGaugh Moore.
He is susrvived by two brothers, Phillip McGaugh of Augusta, ME, and Paul David McGaugh of Casper, WY.
