Martin "Hot Wheelz" Adams

Martin “Hot Wheelz” Adams, age 57, passed away surrounded by his loving family Saturday, April 25, 2020, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Private graveside services and interment will be Sunday, April 26 at Sunrise Cemetery in Noxapater, Mississippi, with Rev. Phillip Williams officiating. In order for the family to follow the COVID-19 precautions in place under Executive Order 1466 of Governor Tate Reeves, the service will be private.

Martin was born August 16, 1962, to Carl and Margaret Jennings Adams in Louisville. As his nickname indicates, he enjoyed Hot Wheels cars and had quite an extensive collection. To say that he was obsessed with motorcycles would be an understatement of how much he loved his Harleys and riding. Martin taught himself to play the guitar; he enjoyed playing and collecting rare guitars very much. He never served in the military yet he was a very patriotic American. Martin always participated in the toy drives and bike rides to support children. He was also an accomplished artist.

Martin is survived by his parents Carl and Margaret Adams of Louisville, and his son Marty Adams of New Orleans, Louisiana. He also leaves behind his three sisters: Patty Boatner, Peggy Adams, and Lynn Graham and husband Donnie all of Louisville, as well as his nephew Clark Graham. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his brother-in-law Doug Boatner.

Services are under the direction of Nowell Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by signing the guest register at www.nowellmasseyfuneralhome.com.
