Robin Dianne Hinton, age 56, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at her residence in Guntown, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8 at Bevill Hill Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Bevill Hill Cemetery.
Robin was born January 17, 1962, to Willie Joe and Earnestine “Micky” Clarke Gentry. She was an electrician and enjoyed spending time reading always learning. She enjoyed her family and friends but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Robin is survived by four children: Dixie Ludwig and husband Matthew of Needles, California; Kimberly Edwards and husband J. R. of Moselle, Mississippi; Chad Hinton and wife Mariah of Saltillo, Mississippi; and Heather Pulliam and husband Charles of Beaumont, Mississippi. One of her greatest joys was being “Grandma Robin” to her 14 grandchildren: Elizabeth Freeman, Shawna Freeman, Storm Williamson, Crystal Mixon, Angel Mixon, Summer Evans, Jimmy Edwards, Jamie Jenkins, Stephanie Hinton, Celeste Hinton, Joseph Hinton, Brionna Pulliam, Rylee Pulliam, and K. C. Pulliam; as well as her six great-grandchildren. Robin is also survived by her brother Mark Gentry and wife Joye of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Joseph Dale Gentry.
Serving as pallbearers are J. R. Edwards, Jimmy Edwards, Kenneth Evans, Johnny Gentry, Thomas Haskins, and Charles Pulliam. Memorials may be given to Breast Cancer Research, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309 Dallas, TX 75265.
