Thomas Clifton Nowell, Jr., self employed insurance agent, and member of Northside Church of Christ, passed away Monday, October 7, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center, in Tupelo, MS. He was born December 24, 1943, in Choctaw County, MS. Parents were Thomas C. Nowell, Sr. and Verna Estelle (Hopkins) Nowell.
Funeral Services for Mr. Nowell will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at Huntsville Church of Christ on Hwy. 413 between French Camp, MS and Kilmichael, MS. Burial will follow in Huntsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS.
Mr. Nowell is survived by 1 son, Thomas Lee Nowell(Alicia), 2 daughters, Regina Ann Burns(Kelvin), and Jennifer Lynn Holmes(Alan), 4 brothers, Lennis Nowell, Doyle Nowell, Telvis Nowell, Terry Nowell, 4 sisters, Doyce Parish, Loyce Dunn, Joyce Kemp, and Patsy Fulcher, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas C. Sr. & Verna Estelle Nowell, 1 son, Johnny Clifton Nowell, 2 brothers, L.C. Nowell, and L.T. Nowell.
Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, or Wounded Warriors project.
