Patricia Lee Pilgrim of Noxapater, Mississippi, age 83, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at her daughter’s residence in Meridian, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville. Visitation will be the day of the service from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Nowell Massey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in McClain Chapel Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Patricia was born in Lauderdale County on April 28, 1934, to Elliott and Elsie Mixon Harmon. In her younger days, she enjoyed dancing, and was a fun-loving, “life of the party” type of person that everyone loved being around.
Patricia is survived by her children: Elliot Skinner and wife, Mary Hahn, of Atlanta, Georgia; Fay Litchfield and husband, Michael; and Linda Cooper all of Meridian. One of her greatest joys was being “Grandma” to her three grandchildren: Frank Bramum and wife, Rhonda; Michael Litchfield; and Karen Grace Hamilton and husband, Scott; and one great-granddaughter, Lauren Grace Hamilton. Patricia is also survived by her siblings: Doris Jeannine Robertson; Benjamin Franklin Harmon and wife, Billie, all of Meridian; Dallas Jean Chamblee of Union, Mississippi; Wilma Dawn Kynerd of Jackson, Mississippi; and Mary Ellen Gibson also of Meridian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Dewitt Pilgrim; and her parents.
Serving as pallbearers are Bobby Boyette, Scott Hamilton, David Kynerd, Michael Litchfield, Jason Walker, and Stanley Walker. Memorial contributions honoring Patricia may be given to McClain Chapel Cemetery Fund, c/o Ray Cockrell, 10320 Road 468, Philadelphia, MS 39350.
