Mrs. McLaurin was born on September 6, 1938, to Leroy and Earline Malone Hartness. She was a member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church and was a retired nurse.
Estelle is survived by four sons, Danny McLaurin; Terry McLaurin and wife, Wanda; and Billy McLaurin and wife, Misty, all of Philadelphia; and Bobby McLaurin and wife, Sandra, of Forest, Mississippi. She is also survived by three sisters: Kay Emmons and husband, Larry, of Winona, Mississippi; Mae Horne of Noxapater; and Fay Powell of Houlka, Mississippi; and by one brother, Ronnie Hartness and wife, Virginia, of Starkville, Mississippi. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. McLaurin was preceded in death by her husband, Dan B. McLaurin; and her parents.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ted Hartness, Eddie mac McLaurin, Jimmy McLaurin, and Mike Speapasico. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tribute Program, P. O. Box 1000 Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
