Mr. Whitehead was born October 8, 1936, to Ray and Hazel Napier Whitehead. He was a member of Whitehall United Methodist Church and was retired from a career in Forest Management. He answered the call of his country by serving in the United States Army.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Whitehead of Louisville; his son, Jeff Whitehead and wife, Kim, of Sturgis, Mississippi; and two daughters, Rhonda Robertson and husband, Bryan, of Jena, Louisiana; and Susan Trichel and husband, Toby, of Monroe, Louisiana. One of his greatest joys was being “Pop” to eight grandchildren: Layla Scott and Doc Coleson Whitehead; Madison, Landry and Hunter Robertson; and Cole, Kade, and Carson Trichel. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bill Whitehead; and his sister, Nadine Whitehead.
