Mr. McKay was born on August 9, 1930, to Ervin and Lena Taylor McKay. He was a member of East Louisville Baptist Church; and he retired as a truck driver with Georgia Pacific Corporation after more than 30 years.
Mr. McKay is survived by two sons, Steve McKay and wife, Patricia, of Columbus, Mississippi; and Robert McKay and wife, Polly, of Gulfport, Mississippi; two brothers, and one sister. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Brandon McKay; Josh McKay; Kristin Johnson and husband, Luke; Sarah McKay; and James McKay. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah O’Briant McKay and his parents.
Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Clark, Jerry Hill, Randy Hodges, Wayne Joiner, Larry McCullouch, and Frank Stewart. Memorials may be given to East Louisville Baptist Church, P. O. Box 706, Louisville, MS 39339.
