on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Poole officiating assisted by Becky Smith. Interment will be in Vernon Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Roberson was born in Noxubee County on August 16, 1930, to Emmitt Curtis and Sadie Wilson Robertson. He loved driving a truck hauling logs for M. D. Allen Logging.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Laura Sue Roberson; his daughter, Judy Ferguson; and his sister, Erma Luke and husband, Fred, all of Preston, Mississippi. He is also survived by two grandsons: Robert Charles Ferguson and Ricky Lee Ferguson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Sarah Mae Vickers; and three brothers, John Henry Robertson, Jimmie Dale Robertson, and David “Bo” Robertson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Robertson, Justin Robertson, Mark Robertson, Brad Luke, Donald Luke, Robbie Robertson, and Cody Robertson. Arrangements are under the direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville,MS.
