Barbara was a proud graduate of Louisville High School and was married to Benny Jack Parker for 47 years before his passing. She was a mother to three boys, Jack, Jr. (Anna), David (Debbie), and Andy (Susan), and she was a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, and aunt to her nieces and nephews.
She was an avid Ole Miss Rebel fan. After living out west working as a sales representative, she moved back to Mississippi after her husband passed away. Some of her favorite things were cooking; playing bridge and hosting clubs; reading novels, especially John Grisham; and loving dogs, especially Pekingese.
