James Russell McClure passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020, at the VA Nursing Home, in Kosciusko, MS. He was born on November 18, 1926, in Choctaw County, MS, to Ethel Robert and Chirstine(Weatherall) McClure. He was 93 years old. Mr. McClure was a retired carpenter.
Private graveside services will be held at Chester Baptist Cemetery near Ackerman, MS, on Saturday, June 6, 2020, at 10:00 a.m.
Mr. McClure is survived by 2 sons, Larry(Patricia) McClure of Ackerman, MS, Terry(Terri) McClure of Ackerman, MS, 3 sisters, Brenda(Dan) Wise, Linda(Ben) Tharp, and Nita Connell all of Ackerman, MS, 3 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Mr. McClure was preceded in death by his wife, Drexell McClure, his parents, 1 son(Lonnie McClure), 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Memorials may be made to Chester Baptist Church.
