Bettie Jean Ashford, 75, was born in Ackerman, Mississippi, on June 25, 1940. She passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015, at Methodist Hospital, Jackson, MS. Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Pilgrim Rest M. B. Church, Ackerman, Mississippi. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 12 noon until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Mrs. Ashford will be placed in the Church one hour before service time on Thursday. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.
