Earma Jean Clark

Mrs. Earma Jean Clark, 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Aurora Nursing Home in Columbus, Mississippi. Visitation will be Friday, May 2, 2014, from 9 a.m. until service time at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dempsey officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Clark was born on July 24, 1922, to Mattie Ethridge Roebuck and Levi Cooper Roebuck. She was a member of West EndBaptist Church and she was a homemaker and a seamstress.

She is survived by her son, Thomas “Tom” Toney and wife, Joyce, of Caledonia, Mississippi; and his sister, Eugene Thomasson ofLouisville. Mrs. Clark has three grandchildren: David Edwards and wife, Kelli; Michele Sterling; and Ashley Lugo and husband, Felix. She also has seven great-grandchildren: Christopher Edwards, Crishara Sterling, Caesar Contresas, Julianna Contresas, Destin Edwards, Adrianna Lugo, and Maria Lugo. Earma Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; daughters, Wanda Joy and Katie Jean Toney; and her parents.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chuck Robertson, Mark Robertson, Kenny Hollis, Francis Clark, David Edwards, and Earl Clark. Memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, c/o Mary Vowell, 110 Hemlock Street, Louisville, MS 39339.
