Mr. John Billy Freshour, 86, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, December 2, 2013, at his residence in Macon, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Mashulaville Baptist Church in Noxubee County, Mississippi, with Rev. Bobby Parish officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 9 a.m. until service time at Mashulaville Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Mashulaville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Freshour was born on May 12, 1927, to Alford and Addie Rogers Freshour. He was a member of Mashulaville Baptist Church and he was an auto mechanic at the Brunt Ward dealership in Louisville, Mississippi.
Mr. Freshour is survived by his two sisters, Jessie Gillis and Audrie Oechele. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Billy is preceded in death by his wife, Dean Freshour; his son, John Wayne Freshour; and his parents.
Pallbearers will be Norman Gillis, Ryan Conner, Phillip Higginbotham, Richard Gaylord, Justin Moffett and James Moffett. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Bobby White, Buddy Chappell, Eddie Gaylord, Lamar White and Petey Freshour.
