Mr. Paul Stacy Kemp, 52, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Rush Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Mike Fuller officiating. Interment will be in Jackson Field Cemetery.
Mr. Kemp was born on July 30, 1960, to Paul “Sonny” and Glenda Adcock Kemp. Stacy was of the Pentecostal faith and was formerly a funeral director and a painter managing the local Sherwin-Williams store for several years.
He is survived by his mother, Glenda Kemp of Louisville. He is also survived by three sisters: Shelia and Rev. Jimmy Guy of Macon, Mississippi; Sherry Jernigan of Brooksville, Mississippi; and Sandra and Danny Hill of Louisville. Stacy also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul W. “Sonny” Kemp.
Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Hill, Billy Don Baker, Michael Sullivan, Brad Guy, Tyler Guy, and Brandon Heard. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lloyd Heard, Rudy Kemp, Don Sisson, and Lacey Kemp. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tribute Program, P. O. Box 1000 Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. Arrangements are under the direction of Nowell-Massey Funeral Home, 724 North Columbus Avenue, Louisville, MS.
