survived by, his wife, Ethel Mae Black McCarty, five children, Stanley McCarty, Johnny Brock, Richard Brodk, Tomeka Brown, Crystal(Darrius) Brown. ten brothers, Johnny C. (Shellie) , Obie (Coranda), James Earl, Allen (Nell), David (Eloise), Tonie, James, Darrell, Charles and John Henry McCarty. Nine Sisters, Patricia(Donnie) McCarty, Gloria Douglas, Shirley Blackmon, Josephine (Prentis) Henderson, Dorothy (John) Stripling, Magalene(Chris) Camptell , Julie (Miguel) Armstrong, Pearl Lee Johnson, Annie Ruth McCarty. one brother, Johnny Frand and one sister Alice Spaine both preceded him in death.
14 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.
