Mrs. Macy Bell Myers, 94, died Saturday, August 7, 2010, at her home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 9th, at Harmony Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Lundy and Rev. Tommy Jones officiating. Interment will be in Harmony Cemetery. Visitation is from 4:30 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Myers was born January 12, 1916, in Winston County, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Merlin Myers; two sons, James Harold Myers and Jessie Wayne Myers; and a son-in-law, Jerry Holdiness. She is survived by three daughters, Josie Myers of Memphis, TN, Carolyn (Bob) Burgman of Dallas, TX; and Beverly Holdiness of Louisville; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Aaron Williamson, Sonny Presley, David Holton, Wayne Nowell, Joe Johnson, and Paul Russell. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
