Leema S. Holloway

Mrs. Leema S. Holloway, 91, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Visitation will be Friday, July 30, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, with Rev. Billy Bowie and Rev. David Keen officiating. Interment will follow in Murphy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Holloway was born April 7, 1919 to Milton and Rebecca Haggard Schoolar. She was a homemaker and pastor's wife; she was a member of First Baptist Baptist Church of Louisville.

Mrs. Holloway is survived by one son, David (Brenda) Holloway of Clinton, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Lan (Jennifer) Holloway of Houston, Texas and Brandon Holloway of Clinton, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James N. Holloway; one sister, Wilma Thompson; one brother, J. L. Schoolar; and parents, Milton Landrum and Rebecca Elizabeth Haggard Schoolar.

Pallbearers will be Lan Holloway, Brandon Holloway, Ken Schoolar, Richey Schoolar, Frank Cockrell and Dwight Davidson. Memorials may be sent to Mississippi College, Senior Adult Ministry of First Baptist Church in Louisville or Baptist Children's Village.
