Margaret C. Thomas

Margaret Ann Coleman Thomas was born on Monday, November 18, 1935, in Noxapater, Mississippi. She went home to be with Jesus on Monday, November 18, 2013, on her 78th birthday. Margaret was a member of First Apostolic Church of Louisville, and she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clifford J.Thomas of Louisville, Mississippi; her son, Ronald D. Thomas and wife, Victoria Fernandez Thomas, of Kingwood, Texas; and her daughter, Sherry Thomas Hill and husband, Edward Hill, of Cape Coral, Florida. Margaret has four grandchildren: Nikki Schneider and husband, Allen, of Houston, Texas; Brandon Thomas of Austin, Texas; Zachary Hill and Amber Hill both of Cape Coral, Florida. She is also survived by her siblings, Maggie Coleman Smith of Bean Station, Tennessee; Pat Coleman and wife, Dot, of Florence, Alabama; and Sharon Coleman Reed and husband, Bobby, of Louisville. Margaret is a beloved aunt to 16 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Ethel Price Coleman; her sister, Lucia Marie Coleman; and two brothers, Dan Coleman and Paul Coleman.

Visitation for Margaret will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Saturday, November 23, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at the First Apostolic Church with Rev. Victoria Fernandez Thomas and Rev. Michael Halfacre officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Allen Schneider, Brandon Thomas, Zachary Hill, Dan Thomas, Don Smith, and Danny Smith. Memorials may be given to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Jeremy Michael Denson

Mr. Jeremy Michael Denson, 34, of Morton, MS, died Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, MS. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Denson was born April 6, 1979, in Jackson, MS. He was self-employed as a construction worker, specializing in flooring. He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Pope Denson.

He is survived by his wife, Brandi Crowell Denson of Louisville, MS; daughters, Jaden Denson of Louisville, MS, and Isabella Denson of Morton, MS; a son, Nathan Denson of Morton, MS; his father, Jimmy Denson of Morton, MS; sisters, Tonya Denson of Morton, MS, and Amanda Cobb of Florence, MS; and a brother, Brett Denson of Brandon, MS.

Larry Waddell

Mr. Larry Waddell, 61, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville on Sunday, November 17, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Haggard officiating. Interment will be in Camp Ground UnitedMethodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Waddell was born on October 16, 1952, to Howard and Bonnie Mae Presley Waddell. He was a member of Camp Ground United Methodist Church. Since 1989 he has served as a Conservation Officer with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks and he also served as the area manager at the Nanih Waiya Management Wildlife Area.

Larry is survived by his wife of 39 years, Becky Young Waddell, of Louisville; his daughter, Heather McAdory and husband, Andy, of Philadelphia; and his son, Stuart Waddell and wife, Melanie, also of Louisville. He is also survived by his sisters: Jo Lynn Humphries and husband, Tommy; Linda Brent and husband, Donnie; and Debbie Hughes; and his brother, Steve Waddell. Mr. Waddell has two grandchildren, Lacey McAdory (Justin) Gibbs and Joshua McAdory; and two great-grandchildren, Drew (My Little Deer Hunter) Gibbs and Gage (Cotton Top) Gibbs. Larry was truly a friend to many and loved by all. He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Minnie Mae and Everett Presley.

Pallbearers will be Miles Forbes, Bobby Dexter, Lars Wheeler, Tommy Grater, Jonathan Peeples, and Derrel Taylor. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lee Myers, Charlie Fulton, Ben Kirk, Glenn Gregory, Wilson (Bubba) Young, Jerome Blanton, Michael Brent, and Ryan Taylor. Willie Mae Green

Mrs. Willie Mae Green, 90, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, November 15th, at Butler Pentecostal Church, with Rev. Gerald Butler, Rev. Allen Eaves, and Mr. Tyler Higginbotham officiating. Mrs. Green was born November 20, 1922, in Noxubee County, MS. She was a retired seamstress for Macon Pants Company, and Cal-Jac Co. She was a member of Butler Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Green, and her parents, Lela Tommy Butler and Thomas Howard Coleman. 

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia McBrayer of Shuqualak, MS; a sister, Ernestine Higginbotham of Shuqualak, MS; three grandchildren, Tammy Rigdon, Betty Higginbotham, and Gene McBrayer; eight great grandchildren, Beth Prewitt, Everett McBrayer, Michael Higginbotham, Jr, Ben Higginbotham, Brittany Rigdon, Brandon Ridgon, Kirstie McBrayer, and Jasmine McBrayer; and seven great great grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Gene McBrayer, Michael Higginbotham, Sr., Chris Rigdon, Everett McBrayer, Michael Higginbotham, Jr., Ben Higginbotham, Brandon Rigdon, and Randy Prewitt.

Louise Knight Tomlinson

Louise Knight Tomlinson went into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday evening, November 9, 2013, at her home in Louisville, Mississippi. Born August 10, 1920, in Laurel, MS, Mrs. Tomlinson was the daughter of Bess Griffin White and Louis Knight. She was married for more than 60 years to A. B. (Pat) Tomlinson who died in October 2000. She and Pat had one son H. N. (Pat) who passed away in 2009. Louise had been a member of First Presbyterian Church for more than 80 years, and served the church for many years as organist and pianist.
