Mrs. Hemphill was born September 28, 1958, in Florida. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant; and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Joe Hemphill of Louisville; a daughter, Tina Joanne Long of Pennsylvania; a son, Michael Maurice Hemphill of Louisville; seven grandchildren, Tyler Daniel Hemphill, Emily Michelle Hemphill, Eddie Laudien, Maria Strickland, Natalie Long, Quinton Long, and Maddie Jo Long; sisters, Elizabeth Ann Henry of Guntersville, AL, Maurie Katherine Norman of Lake City, WA, Amelia Margaret Keeton of Carbon Hill, AL, and Ruth Ellen Stembridge of Tuscaloosa, AL; and four brothers, Edward Lowe Tidwell of Birmingham, AL, Maurice Eugene Tidwell of Guntersville, AL, Thomas Decha Tramel of Mobile, AL, and Terry Lee Hermecz of Louisville, MS.

She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Joe Hemphill, Jr.; her father, Tillman Oliver Tramel, Sr., her mother, Elizabeth Ann Hearndon; a sister, Christine Tramel Solozano; and a brother, Tillman Oliver Travel, Jr.

Mr. Raymond B. Allen, 99, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at the Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 30th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jay Murphy officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery.

Mr. Allen was born January 7, 1914, in Winston County, MS. He was a retired farmer and cattleman, and worked for Babcock & Wilcock in West Point for many years. He was a member and deacon at Shiloh Baptist church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Vera Allen; his parents, Alma Florence and Burnett Albert Allen; a son, Robert Allen; and a grandson, Casey Allen.

He is survived by a daughter, Kay (Everett) Miles of Louisville; a son, James Boyd (Mary Alice) Allen of Noxapater; five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Max Allen, Sam Allen, Hayden Ellis, Spencer Ellis, Tyler Miles, and Nathan Hutchinson.

Memorials may be made to the Shiloh Cemetery Fund.
