Mr. Flake was born February 4, 1937, in Winston County, MS. He was a retired truck driver, and a member of Zion Chapel Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lil Childress Flake of Louisville; son, Keith (Clarissa) Flake of Louisville; daughter, Tammy Flake Eaves of Louisville; Grandchildren: Tyler & Taylor Flake, Charleigh, and Kingsley; brothers, Jeff (Gloria) Flake and Paul (Dell) Flake, both of Louisville; sisters, Bobbie Nell (Delton) Moore of Powder Springs, GA, and Glenda (Jimmy) Burrage of Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Tabor and Jennie Ruth Foster Flake; and sisters, Myrtle Ruth Flake, Annie Frances Flake Crick, and Sherry Flake Stewart.

James Forrest Cagle, 72, died July 15, 2013, at home surrounded by his family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, July 18, 2013, at the chapel of Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland. A Masonic graveside service will follow at Jessamine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesdayat the funeral home and will continue at 1:00 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Cagle was born on November 18, 1940, in Louisville, MS, the son of the late Forrest and Fleda Cagle. A graduate of East Central Community College, he worked for over 30 years for Entergy (MP&L) as a lineman in the Rankin and Madison county offices.
Mr. Cagle was an avid Mississippi State fan. He was a member of the Wahabi Shrine and was active in the clown unit, serving numerous times as Captain of the unit. Mr. Cagle assisted transporting many children to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children in Shreveport, LA, and Galveston, TX. He was a member of the Leavell Woods Masonic Lodge # 620, where he is a Past Master. He was a Member of Local IBEW #605. He was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and was recognized as a true grandson of confederate hero, Private James Pinkney Cagle.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Deane Cagle. Esther was the daughter of Dr. Thaddeus Earl Watkins, Sr. and Nettie
Elizabeth Watkins Duncan. She was also preceded in death by her brother,
Thaddeus Earl Watkins, Jr. and a nephew, John Watkins.
A longtime resident of Philadelphia, Esther earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree at MSCW,
a Masters Degree in History at the University of Alabama, a Masters Degree in Special
Education at Mississippi State University. While a graduate student at the University of
Alabama, she wrote a comprehensive history of Neshoba County.
Miss Watkins, a dedicated teacher, taught English and special education
at Philadelphia High School for almost 50 years. She gave of herself in
and out of the classroom and touched the lives of many students. She
was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church where she served
her faith community. She loved to paint, read and travel and will be
remembered by those who knew her for her generosity, kindness and
selflessness.
Esther is survived by her sister, Mildred Watkins Wilson of Louisville; a
sister-in-law, Louise Watkins of Nashville, TN; nieces, Carol Wilson
Kramer (Fred) of St. Louis, MO, Elizabeth Watkins Saunders (Kevin)
of Hendersonville, TN and Esther Watkins Gulli (Chris) of Oakland, CA;
nephews, David Wilson, Jr. of Louisville, Thaddeus Earl Watkins, III
(Christy) of Nashville, TN and Jim Watkins (Susan) of Rome , GA.; numerous
great nieces and nephews and three great-great- nephews.
She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews who were blessed
to call her Aunt Esther.

Lois Jean Harrington
Lois Jean Harrington, 77, passed away at her home, on Thursday, July 4, 2013. Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 11, 2013, at 1 p.m., from Unity Missionary Baptist Church, Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 10, 2013, from 12 noon until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Mrs. Harrington, will be reposed in the Church on Thursday, one hour before service time. Burial will be at Memorial Garden Cemetery, Louisville, Mississippi, Beck Funeral Home of Louisville will be in charge of arrangements.
Charles Pinkney Jordan
Mr. Charles Pinkney Jordan, 85, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 10th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Phil Fancher officiating. Interment will be in Betheden Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home.
Mr. Jordan was born May 24, 1928, in Louisville, MS. He had 26 years of active military service, having served in the National Guard, the U. S. Marines, and retired as Master Sergeant from the U. S. Army in 1976. He served as Civil Defense Director in Louisville for 9 years, worked with the Louisville Volunteer Fire Department of 16 years, and worked at Northgate Cinema for many years. He was a Mason, and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Faye Lindsey Jordan; daughters, Janet Douglas of Columbus, MS, Lisa Noffsinger of Starkville, MS, Annette Ingles of Oak Island, NC, and Gina Wallace of Wingate, NC; a son, Gary Jordan of Ash, NC; two brothers, J. B. Jordan of Roxie, MS, and Junious Jordan of Terry, MS; a sister, Francis Harris of Rodgers, Ark; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Oran Frazier
Mr. Oran Frazier, 85, died Saturday, July 6, 2013, at his home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 9th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Justin Wilcher and Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home.
Mr. Frazier was born February 24, 1928, in Louisville, MS. He was a graduate of East Central Community College, and was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church, where he served as Sunday School director and Men's II Sunday School teacher. He served in the military for 23 years, having served in the Army during the Korean conflict, and was retired as Sr. Master Sergeant from the Air Force, where he served in Vietnam. Oran loved the outdoors and was a Master Gardener and avid hunter.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Odell Collier Frazier of Louisville; two daughters, Pam (Craig) Foster of Louisville, and Patty (Matt) Jensen of Madison, MS; two sons, Dr. Steve Frazier of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Alan Frazier of Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Barbara Nemitz of Pascagoula, MS; seven grandchildren, Jason Walton, Laura Maxcy, Phillip Foster, Chris Joiner, Kimberly Rogers, Ross Jensen, and James Frazier; and three great grandchildren, Carson Joiner, Wren Rogers, and Lily Walton.

Eva E. Roberson
Mrs. Eva E. Roberson, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Sunday, July 7, from 12 noon until service time. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewayne Kelsey and Rev. Toby Halfacre officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Roberson was born on March 15, 1926, to Dudley and Martha Gregory Stevenson. She was a member of Zion Chapel Pentecostal Church and she enjoyed her career as a cook and homemaker.
Mrs. Roberson is survived by two daughters, Sherry Duran and husband, Donny, of Louisville; and Linda Swindle and husband, John, of Noxapater, Mississippi; her son, James Berlin Roberson and wife, Judy; and her sister, Lorene White all of Louisville. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Traci Borlovan, Leslie Nagel and husband, Brad, and Clay Duran; and two step-grandchildren, Meagan Duran and Candace Duran. Mrs.Roberson also has two great-grandchildren, Jacob Borlovan and Halle Kate Nagel, as well as, five step-great-grandchildren, Jaylee Stokes, Wyatt Moody, Jaden Blair, Corbin Stapleton, and Madelyn Edwards. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie T. Roberson; her parents; two sisters, Lillie Mae Sutley and Myrtle Persons; and three brothers, John Henry, Lee and Coy Stevenson.
Pallbearers will be Willie Earl Stevenson, Larry Peavy, Eric Breazeale, Billy Joe Jones, Jeff Flake, Mike Robertson, Marion Hamm, and Jerry Coward. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.

Harry W. Gay
Dr. Harry W. Gay Jr. passed from this earthly life to his eternal home on July 3, 2013. He was born in Montgomery, West Virginia to Harry W. Gay and Mary Suzie Massey Gay. The beautiful scenery of the Mountaineer State has always held an important place in his heart.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 7, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. until service time at Rocky Hill UnitedMethodist Church in Louisville, Mississippi. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Rocky Hill on Sunday, July 7, with Rev. Larry Haggard officiating.
Dr. Gay graduated from the West Virginia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics. He worked for several years with a chemical company inWest Virginia. However, music had always been his calling, such that he made the decision to return to school, receiving a Master of Music degree in Organ performance and a Master of Music degree in Sacred Music from Indiana University. He continued his education by graduating from Indiana University summa cum laude with the first Doctor of Music in Organ Performance degree issued in the United States and a Doctor of Sacred Music degree. He also earned a Doctor of Theology in Practical Theology degree, a Doctor of Divinity degree, and a Ph. D. of Philosophy in Biblical Studies degree. He served as organist/choirmaster atOld Stone Church and Trinity Cathedral in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as Buntyn Presbyterian Church in Memphis, Tennessee. He joined the faculty of the University of Memphis as a professor of organ and sacred music and served as the Director of Graduate Studies for several years. He retired to Louisville, Mississippi, where he taught music privately, taught atWinston Academy, and served as local pastor of the Sturgis-Big Creek United Methodist Churches for eight years. He has been published in numerous music magazines, authored the book Four French Organists, was an accomplished composer, and can be heard on numerous recordings.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Fulton Gay; son, Hugh Gay (Angela); daughter, Mary Margaret Crowson (Josh); and two granddaughters, Morgan Gay and Cara Crowson.

Funeral services for William Bryce Eaves, son of Chris and Tamara Eaves will be held at 10 AM Friday, July 5, 2013 at Crystal Ridge Gym in Louisville, MS with Rev. Melvin Chase and Rev.
