Randle Kelley

Randle Kelley, 57, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Baptist Medical Center—Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22 at Massey Funeral Home in Louisville from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 23 in the Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Matt Steed officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in Hight Cemetery in Noxapater, Mississippi.

Randle was born May 11, 1967, to L. D. Kelley, Jr. and Bettie Warren Kelley in Louisville. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed any outside activity; especially hunting, fishing, and boating. He also enjoyed cooking. He was known for his patriotism and he enjoyed collecting eagles at garage sales and shops. He was also a devoted gun collector. Randle dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He would do anything to help someone else; he selflessly donated his organs which benefited several recipients.

Randle is survived by his loving wife, Mignon Helms Kelley of Mathiston, Mississippi; and his children: Jody (Jaimee) Kelley of Kosciusko; Danica (Jonathan) Steed also of Kosciusko; Chase Busby; Hannah Busby; and Grace Busby all of Mathiston. One of his greatest joys was being “Papaw Randle” to his six grandchildren: AbiGail Brooke Steed, Kelley Grace Steed, Emma Kate Steed, Sadie Beth Steed, Merritt Jo Kelley, and Benjamin Lee Kelley. He is also survived by his mother, Bettie Warren Kelley of Noxapater; and sister, Lori Mills of Louisville. Randle was preceded in death by his father, L. D. Kelley, Jr.; brother-in-law, Payton Kevin Mills; nephew, Kelley Payton Mills; paternal grandparents, L. D. Kelley, Sr. and Gracie Kelley; and maternal grandparents, Henry and Carrie Warren.

Serving as pallbearers are Jamie Baugh, Ken Griffin, Hunter Luke, Tim Myers, Brian Rone, and Hunter Terrell. Donations in honor of Randle may be given to Massey Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
