Mary Louise Sanders, 84, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at The Nichols Center in Madison, MS. A graveside service will be held at the Mashulaville Baptist Church cemetery on Monday, July 1st, 2024 at 10:00 am. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Louise was born January 6, 1940, in Mashulaville, MS, to James Tyson and Mary Triplett Sanders. She was a graduate of Noxubee County High School and East Mississippi Community College. She enjoyed a long career as an executive secretary beginning in Shreveport, LA, and later in Houston, TX, for many years with United Gas Pipeline, Entex, and CenterPoint Energy. She moved back to Madison, MS, to care for her mother, and retired in 2005.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Edward Sanders, TJ Sanders, and Frank Sanders.
She is survived by her sisters, Amelia (Bob) Carpenter of Madison, MS, and Sandra Sanders of Fayetteville, AR.
Memorials in Louise’s memory may be made to the Mashulaville Baptist Church cemetery fund or University of Mississippi Medical Center, The Mind Center, Jackson, MS.
