George Herman Doss, 71, of Louisville, MS., passed on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at the Winston County Nursing Home, Louisville, MS. Funeral Service will be Sunday, June 20, 2021, at 2 p.m., from Pilgrim Rest M. B. Church, Louisville, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, from 4:30, until 6 p.m., from the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Prospect Church Cemetery, Louisville, MS. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangement.
Mr. Doss, was born on April 14, 1950, in Winston County Mississippi, to the Parents of Charlie Doss and Glennie Bell Triplett. He was preceded in death by his parents; Charlie and Glennie Bell; siblings, Bennie Nicholson, Sherman Doss, Thomas Doss, Arthur Lee Doss and Augusta"Gus" Doss.
Survived by: Wife, Gloria Doss; his children, Stephanie Walker(Brian), Timothy Terrell (June) and George Corey Doss (Jackie) all of Chicago, IL.; His Siblings, Charlie Doss(Maxine), Larry Doss(Ophelia) and Nancy Ford(Howard) all of Louisville, MS., Delinda Doss-Alwan, of Atlanta, GA., Kendrick Doss (Calandra), of Horn Lake, MS., and Glennie Eiland(Tommie) of Radcliff, KY.; In-laws,Willie Bell, Sarah Doss, Pearl Doss, Marilyn Doss, and Doris Doss. A host of Grands, Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and friends.
