Funeral service for Mr. Hulon J. Sisson will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 2 p.m. from Noxapater Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Fondren officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time. McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sisson, 92, of Noxapater passed peacefully in his sleep at his home on Saturday, January 23, 2021.
A native and lifelong resident of Winston County, he worked for Wells Lamont for 40 years until he retired. He enjoyed working on his farm with his cows and was once named Farmer of the Year. He loved visiting and spending time with friends and family. Mr. Sisson was a member of Noxapater Baptist Church and served as a deacon.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years; Mildred Taylor Sisson; daughter, Cynthia Sisson Hatcher; grandson, John (Stacey) Hatcher; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Kelsey, Brianna, Alexa, Ryker.
Mr. Sisson was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Sisson and Sadie Adcock Sisson; brother, Curtis Sisson.
Pallbearers , Greg Sisson, Glen Sisson, Colby Sisson, Jimmy Commer, Rayford Manning and Bruce Manning.
In lieu of flowers the family members request memorials be made to Mt. Carmel Cemetery or your favorite charity.
