Ruby M. Bowie passed away Friday, December 4, 2020, at the Choctaw County Regional Medical Center, in Ackerman, MS. She was born March 17, 1949, in Kosciusko, MS, to Claitor H. and Aurice(Wasson) Moore. She was 71 years old. Ruby was a retired librarian and bookkeeper.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, 11:00 A.M., at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman, MS, with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating.
Ruby is survived by 1 son, Hamp(Amanda) McKnight of Merritt Island, FL; 2 brothers, James C.(Judy) Moore of Carthage, MS, and John(Nancy) Moore of Ridgeland, MS; 2 grandchildren, Nola and Mitchell McKnight, and special long-time friend, Kat Wood.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Bowie, and her parents, Claitor and Aurice Moore.
Memorials may be made to Ackerman Methodist Church.
