Private graveside services for Ms. Dalanna Parker were held at 6:00 PM Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Mars Hill Pentecostal Cemetery in Winston County, MS. Rev. Bryan Madison, Rev. Richard B. Burks and Rev. Timmy Flake officiated. There will be no visitation. John E. Stephens Chapel in charge.
Ms. Parker, 39, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was a resident of the Mars Hill community and was a homemaker. Her hobbies included spending time with her kids, music and dancing. She was a member of Mars Hill Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Edward Flake.
Ms. Parker is survived by her mother, Lisa Burks Langley of Philadelphia; daughter, Andrea Kay Parker of Philadelphia; son, Bo Edward Parker of Philadelphia; stepmother, Sandy Flake of Louisville; maternal grandparents, Rev. Lonoia and Angie Burks, Rev. Earnest and Brenda Flake; brothers, Anthony Flake (Cyndi) and Robert Flake both of Philadelphia; nephews, Payton and Laine Flake; host of friends, family and other relatives.
Pallbearers: Michael Duncan, Richard Duncan, Johnny Creekmore, Dalton Woods, Laine Flake, Donald Joe Nowell, Matthew Burks and Allen Barnett. Honorary pallbearers are Payton Flake and Tim Manning.
