Marian Louise Reel passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020, at Choctaw County Nursing Center, in Ackerman, MS. She was 86 years old. Mrs. Reel was born October 15, 1933, in Gladwin, MI, to Ivan and Thelma(Gruno) Rawles. Mrs. Reel was a retired dietician for French Camp Academy in French Camp, MS.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020, 2:00 p.m., at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, January 18, 2020, from 12:00 noon till service time. Burial will follow in Crape Creek Cemetery near Stewart, MS.
Mrs. Reel is survived by her husband, Allon Reel of Stewart, MS, 1 son, Bo(Sherry) Reel of Stewart, MS, 1 daughter, Diane(Charlie) Edwards of Ackerman, MS, 4 brothers, Frank Rawls of Michigan, Jim Rawls of Arizona, Gary Rawls of Hernando, MS, Richard Rawls of Winona, MS, 2 sisters, Virginia Palmertree of Kosciusko, MS, Betty Jordan of Michigan, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reel was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, and 2 sisters.
