Paul A. Reed

Mr. Paul Arnold Reed, 65, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, June 13th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Hubert Yates officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Paul was born October 18, 1953, in Louisville, MS. He was a graduate of Louisville High School, and Mississippi College, where he earned his degree in physics. He retired after 33 years as a physicist at the Waterways Experiment Station in Vicksburg, MS. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Arnold Reed.

He is survived by a sister, Alma Louise (Randall) Dillon of Vicksburg, MS; and a brother, Davis Allan (Susan) Reed of Oak Ridge, TN.
