Kenneth Knott, a former resident of Louisville, MS, passed away on August 31, 2017 at his home in Detroit. MI. Memorial Services will be held Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 12 noon at the Holy Ghost Temple, 175 Hill Street, Louisville, MS with Rev. Lorene Guyse officiating.
Kenneth Knott was born in Detroit, MI on May 18, 1960 to Bernice Knott Walker and Frank Boyd –both preceded him in death.
He was raised by his grandparents, James Blit Knott and Cealie Knott. Kenneth was introduced to Christ at an early age where he joined St. Matthew’s Primitive Baptist Church. He was baptized by his grandfather James Blit Knott.
Kenneth completed his education at Job Corps, where he received his High School Diploma and Certification as a mechanic.
On May 24, 2008, Kenneth married Veronica Knott (Pumpkin) and a child was born, Victoria Lorene Elizabeth Knott. Kenneth moved to Mississippi and joined Holy Ghost Temple where he served with his Godmother Rev. Lorene Guyse. He was a faithful member until his death. He was faithful in tithing.
On August 31, 2017, the Lord whispered and said, “Kenny, come on home to join your wife, Veronica Knott; parents, Bernice Walker and Frank Boyd; grandparents, James B. Knott, Cealie Knott; five brothers, Tommy Jean, Elroy, and David Knott, Frank Boyd and Egar Walker; one sister, Vicky Boyd and one aunt Dorothy Hines.”
Kenny leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Kenny Robinson, Terrye Knott; five daughters, Aloria Bush, Trina, Terrisha, Cerra and Victoria Knott; five sisters, Violet Bonner, Genevieve (Angelo) Lewis, Howlet (Will) Doss, Zelma and Wanda Boyd, one aunt Catherine Means and nine grandchildren.
Kenneth leaves two cousins whom he was raised with as sisters: Eldona Knott Crawford and Diane Knott Moses.
He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
