Mrs. Dolores LaMotte Hardy, 85, died Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at her daughter’s home in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 28th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mason Joy officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Dolores was born January 2, 1932, in Coello, Illinois. She was a homemaker, and a member of East Louisville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Hardy; one grandson, Tim Coleman, Jr.; and her parents, Alice Young LaMotte and Leo LaMotte.

She is survived by three daughters, Lynn Markham of Gainesville, FL, Kathleen Oldham of Louisville, and Lorraine Coleman of Louisville; two sons, Jeffrey (Donna) Hardy of Columbia, TN, and David (Louann) Hardy of Virginia Beach, VA; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Hardy, Jon Hardy, Brian Weaver, Earl Coleman, Wayne Joiner, and Eric Oldham.

Barbara Holdiness Lowman

Mrs. Barbara Ann Holdiness Lowman, 68, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at her residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewayne Kelsey and Rev. Wayne Hill officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 11 a.m. until service time at Nowell Massey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crystal Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Barbara was born March 25, 1949, to T. W. and Mary Nell Jennings Holdiness. Ms. Barbara loved and cared for others and was the manager of Mel’s Dairy Dream in Monroeville, Alabama, for more than 20 years. For the last two years, she has enjoyed being back home in Louisville and spending time with her children, brothers, sister and her grandchildren.

Mrs. Lowman is survived by her husband, James Lowman, of Monroeville, Alabama; two daughters, Tammy Garretson and husband, Tim, of Louisville; and Joy’l Herrington and husband, Joseph; and two sons, James Lowman, Jr.; and Chuck Grantham and wife, Kim, all of Alabama. She enjoyed being “Baba” to her 10 grandchildren: John Mark Dickerson and wife, Kristin; Linsey Collier; Clay Herrington; Jack and Taylor Lowman; Sean and Nicole Grantham; Krista Fulcher and husband, Shawn; Brandon Garretson and wife, Ayla; and Mark Garretson and wife, Jenae; as well as 10 great-grandchildren. Barbara leaves behind a sister, Sherry Morris and husband, Larry, of Philadelphia, Mississippi; and three brothers, Hubert Holdiness, of Greenville, Mississippi; John Holdiness; and Jerry Holdiness and wife, Ann, all of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her son, James Warner; her brother, Danny Ray Holdiness; her sister, Pamela Reel; and her parents.

Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Garretson, Patrick Holdiness, Bob Morris, Mike Morris, David Reel, and Jason Reel.

Bonnie Sue Heath

Ms. Bonnie Sue Heath, 85, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at her daughter’s residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 22, 2017, at 3 p.m. in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Addy officiating. Bonnie Sue was born November 17, 1931, to Harvey Lee and Mary Bell Bane Pearson. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Louisville. Bonnie Sue, along with her husband Wade, owned and operated the Qwik-Pic on North Court Avenue, which was the first convenience store in Louisville. Next, she was co-owner of Heath’s Grocery; and later, she owned and enjoyed working in her antique shop, Sue’s Antiques, on Highway 14 West. During her time at Winston County Nursing Home, she developed a love to dance.

Ms. Heath is survived by three daughters, Sharon Heath of Louisville; Millie Slay and husband, Scotty, of Clinton, Mississippi; and Glenda Dempsey of Philadelphia, Mississippi; and one son, Ted Heath also of Louisville. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Amanda Eekhof and husband, Marc; Jennifer Heath de Castro and husband, Kennard; Lisa Addy and husband, David; and Michelle Delahanty and husband, Steve; and five great-grandchildren: Braxton Hale, Grace Addy, Jonathan Addy, Marissa Eekhof, and Marley Eekhof. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Fuller Heath; her son, Wade Harvey “Wadie” Heath; and her parents.

Serving as pallbearers are Ricky Bane, Jay Eichelberger, Mon Eichelberger, Bubba Hudspeth, Tommy Jefcoat, and Buster McAdory.

Mr. Parker, 67, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017 in Cashiers, North Carolina. He has lived in Meridian most of his life and was an insurance agent. His hobbies include golfing, watching football and spending time with family. Mr. Parker was a member of Evangel Temple. Preceded in death: Father, G.W. Parker.

Paula was born July 27, 1953, to Frank and Margaret Carr Rogers. She was a member of East Louisville Baptist Church and was retired from Mississippi State University School of Veterinary Medicine where she served as an Executive Secretary.

Ms. Rogers is survived by her sister, Bridget Walker of Brandon, Mississippi; and by two nieces, Megan Walker and Katelin McNeill and husband, J.D. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Griffith was born December 14, 1948, in Winston County, MS. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and George Howard; a sister, Peggy Ann Smith; and a brother, Jessie Howard.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Hardy of Noxapater, MS; three daughters, Melissa (Michael) Moravec of Noxapater, Beth Hardy of Carthage, and Kim Hardy of Kosciusko; two sons, Ricky Griffith of Noxapater, and George Griffith of Oxford, MS; two sisters, Sammie Cobb and Addie Smith of Noxapater, MS; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Haden Smith, Christopher Cremeen, Christian Branning, Paul Smith, Jr., P J. Nickels, and Paul Morris.
