Mrs. Audrey Elizabeth Nowell, 91, died Thursday, February 9, 2017, at Louisville Healthcare in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 13th, at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Lundy officiating. Interment will be in Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 P.M. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Nowell was born June 18, 1925, in Kemper County, MS. She was a homemaker, and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lamont Nowell; her parents, Lillian and James Wilbur Luke; and a great grandson, Christopher Bounds.
She is survived by three daughters, Linda (Joe) Christian of Louisville, MS, Sylvia (Randy) Long of Philadelphia, MS, and Diane (Ernie) McGee of Louisville, MS; one brother, J.W. Luke of Louisville, MS; five grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Levi French, Bobby Cumberland, Ernie McGee, Joseph Bounds, Mitchell Bounds, and Chris Clark.
